Country United States William Kreutzer was an American ranger. Kreutzer was the first forest ranger appointed by the Gunnison National Forest. After years of calm, violence in the valley was beginning to resurface. William has caught wind of plans to attack a sheep camp, and in order to deter violence, the ranger confronted cattlemen and passively talked them down, barely escaping with his life. Kreutzer promised all the ranchers that he would prosecute anyone foolhardy enough to continue the conflict.
