 Country United States Alison Gannett is a former American world champion freestyle skier who dedicated her life to environmental and societal issues. Gannett has shown a passion for preserving the natural beauty of our earth and the local town of Crested Butte. She founded many non-profit organizations such as Save Our Snow Foundation. She has been nominated for ‘’CNN Hero of the Year’’ and Outside magazine named her ‘’Green All-Star of the Year’’.
